We have obtained the services of one of the top trackers in the Karoo National park in the fabulous Karoo region in the Cape and can now offer tracking courses so you can learn skills passed on over generations. The course lasts 7 days and the package includes all flights, transfers, accommodation and meals.
If you would like to stay longer than 7 days, we will be happy to tailor a trip for you. This could include a trip down the awe-inspiring Orange River and a look at the San rock paintings of the Cedarberg.

The course is in the Karoo National park and is run under the auspices of The Nature College, a recognised FGASA trainer and provider of courses.On completion of the course, you will receive a Nature College certificate. The course substance is provided by a very experienced ex-National Parks employee and highly-skilled experts whose skills are widely recognised among his peers. Accommodation is basic but functional and comfortable in tents. Meals will be "bush style" with barbeques and open-fire meals being predominant. Some degree of client participation is required at meals.

The course programme will consist of:

• Familiarisation with the area
• Principles of tracking
• Practical spoor identification
• Categories of spoor
• Spoor of night animals
• Spoor of day animals
• Tracking in differing terrain
• Tracking from a vehicle
• Analysing animal behaviour from tracks
• Systematic tracking (following a spoor)

We are researching a new itinerary in Natal and want to do an exploratory trip. This will include a safari, a trip up the mountains, some white-water rafting, shark diving and pretty much any adventure we can find on the way. We are looking for volunteers to come along with us and assess the trip. We try to provide a trip every 2 weeks but are, of course, guided by your requirements and preferences. As a rule, we try to arrange a trip on the first and middle Friday of every month.

We need a minimum number of people on all our trips and since we are constantly getting enquiries for different trips, we often have places left on trips. We then pool details of clients with others and set up a trip once we have sufficient numbers. It sometimes works out that we urgently need someone to join a trip to make it possible and we will give a discount to anyone who "makes up the numbers" for a trip in ths way.

Each year the Southern Right whales come to Southern Africa to calve and their numbers are growing each year. We can include whale watching in "The Big Trip" itinerary and you can spend some time with these gentle giants as part of other activities or you can make a special trip to the beautiful Cape with its wealth of holiday opportunities.

Cape Town is famous for its stunning beaches but all over South Africa the beaches are among the most beautiful in the world and now's the time to enjoy them. The Christmas rush is over and while the crowds have gone home, the beaches are still drenched in sun. Of course you can do much more than laze the day away on a selection of paradise beaches.
